Uses for your 5 Free Extensions
A caller dials into your Toll Free Number and the automated system allows your callers to choose an extension that you have defined (between 1 and 9999).
You can set up your extensions in the following ways:
'Press 1000 to reach our accounting department. Press 2000 to speak to someone in sales. Press 3000 to speak to a customer service rep. Press 4000 for technical support. Press 5000 to leave a general message.'
'To listen to a 3 minute presentation about our products, press 1. To hear about our compensation plan, press 2. To speak to someone about getting started, press 3.'
'To reach John Smith, press 12. To speak to Tracey Smith, press 25. To leave a general message, press 50.'
Be creative and use the extensions any way you wish.
Your web interface allows you to change what happens when someone chooses the extension. You can set it up to forward directly to your phone, or go straight into voice mail. You can change the action at any time.
